 Its still a little hard to see here, but those little gray shards under the cabinet are razor blades.
That little slot seems to be a built in disposal from the bathroom. Since, you know, no better place to toss old razors than into your wall!!

Bonus points: that stripey wall stuff? Its concrete in mesh, the predecessor to cement board. Yea, that bathroom will be a joy to demo...


Bonus points #2:

Most of the first floor has updated outlets, but there's 1 of these in each room. I assume they were behind furniture when the other were replaced. They do work, shockingly, with basic lamps et al.
